NO TO DIGITAL ID
I do not support the implementation of a digital ID system. While it may be presented as a tool for convenience or security, in reality it poses serious risks to personal freedom, privacy, and autonomy. Centralized digital identification would give governments or corporations unprecedented control over individuals’ personal information, potentially leading to surveillance, data exploitation, and restrictions on basic rights. Once such a system is in place, it could be used to track movements, limit access to services, or even enforce compliance with policies through coercive means. Protecting freedom means rejecting any system that hands over this level of power and control to outside authorities—digital ID is not a safeguard, it is a threat.
